Route Overview
The Nisshō Momiji Line is a scenic toll road in Tochigi Prefecture, connecting Nikko and Nasushiobara. Stretching about 28 km through the mountains, it’s famous for its vibrant autumn leaves—”momiji” means maple. The route links two popular hot spring towns, Shiobara Onsen and Kinugawa Onsen, and is a favorite among tourists and riders.
The road offers beautiful views throughout the seasons, especially during the fall foliage peak in mid-October to early November.
