The Daisen Loop Road is a scenic driving route that circles Mt. Daisen, a famous peak in Tottori Prefecture.
Officially designated as Tottori Prefectural Route 45, the road stretches approximately 30 km.
It forms a partial loop from the southwest (near Mizokuchi IC) to the north side, passing landmarks like Daisenji Temple and Gōenzan Ski Resort.
The road runs at elevations between 500 and 900 meters, offering alternating views of forests and mountain landscapes.
Recommended Section
The western segment from Kagamigake Pass to Masumizu Highland is highly recommended.
This section offers dramatic views of the southern face of Mt. Daisen, especially in clear weather.
Sunrise and sunset hours are ideal for beautiful lighting and scenic photography.
